Conpot Concrete Hanging Planter

This product is exclusive to our website.

Polished cast-concrete planter suspended from oak ring.  Each planter is cast upside down, creating large flecks of stone around a protruding rim, which rests upon an oak ring, made in our Peckham studio.

The sustainably sourced oak is taken from rough sawn planks and cut by hand displaying the rich grain of the material.

Each concrete planter is hand-cast in our Peckham studio and is available in 6 colourways:

Classic Grey – Limestone, sourced in Derbyshire, set in grey Portland cement. The pastel grey concrete is polished to reveal multi tonal grey flecks.

Black Basalt – Made from Black Basalt sourced in Shropshire; the concrete features an inky black stone set in pigmented Portland cement. This concrete is finished with beeswax which highlights the black basalt flecks and gives the surface a slight sheen.

White Marble – White marble sourced from Spain is set in white cement. The polished surface reveals delicate translucent white flecks.

White Marble with Coloured Flecks – This colourway features a complex mix of materials including: white marble, Scottish red granite, black basalt, limestone and kiln-dried flint set in a white Portland cement. The result is a white material dappled with multi coloured flecks.

Green Granite - Made using Welsh green granite, sourced from a quarry near the Brecon Beacons National Park. The polished surface reveals a rich green stone set in pigmented Portland cement. The concrete is finished with beeswax which highlights the multi tonal green flecks and gives the surface a slight sheen.

Red Granite - Made using Scottish red granite, this colourway is our personal take on traditional terracotta. This concrete is polished to reveal tonal flecks of red granite in pigmented Portland cement. Finished with beeswax, the surface has a subtle sheen.

Our concrete is formed with our small Peckham studio using carefully sourced aggregates and the highest quality Portland cement. The material undergoes a four stage polishing process, which reveals the aggregate within, before being finished with a waterproof seal which lasts 10 years.

Each planter is hand-made, resulting in distinct variations within each batch.

Dimensions - H 15.5cm x W 19cm, inside width 11cm. Hanging weight 3kg.

Please see Conpot Care for more information.

To hang the planter from a plaster ceiling we recommend using a spring toggle hook. If you would like us to include one of these in your order please add this to the comments section at the checkout. Please check this is suitable for your ceiling before hanging the planter.
